There are mid and rear axle sets “Spatz, Cutoutz, Hi-linez and Topz” that can offer greater aerodynamics or a spray suppression system that will not compromise the daily checking of wheel nuts. This product range can also be applied to trailers which could enhance the look of the tractor and trailer as a matching unit.
As fuel costs are a high priority for fleet operators then fitting side skirtz to either or both tractor unit and trailer making them aesthetically pleasing and streamlining the vehicle aiding the fuel efficiency.
Side SKIRTZ are an already accepted method of increasing the aerodynamic efficiency of a commercial vehicle, thus improving fuel economy and vehicle handling.
They are aesthetically pleasing and give improved spray suppression qualities, as well as encouraging greater vehicle respect by both fork lift truck operator and commercial vehicle driver.
SKIRTZ are manufactured in TM500 , already well proven as a paintable, high impact lightweight plastic that due to its flexibility, is able to withstand minor bumps inherent in commercial vehicle usage.
SKIRTZ are non-rusting and easy to trim or modify as well as being compact enough to fit a complete vehicle system in a small van, thus being easy to transport or handle by one man.
The modular construction of SKIRTZ (maximum 1.6m panel length) creates an extremely versatile system that is easy to fit and once fitted can be removed quickly, thus keeping vehicle down time to a minimum. This versatility is further enhanced by the availability of accessories. The location these is determined once the SKIRTZ are in position-simply cutting of the SKIRTZ with a Stanley knife and pop riveting the accessories into place ensures correct alignment and facilitates the addition of later accessories should the need arise.
